This brief training will introduce you to a handful of key concepts, tools, and techniques developed through the Department of Defense to identify potential threats in public environments. 

An introduction to government-tested methodologies.

This course briefly covers situational awareness, systematic observation, and active threat assessment, using strategies that are government-researched and officer-trusted. It is designed as a launchpad for our full trainings, including:

  • Situational Awareness for Safety (1-hour course)

  • Threat Observation (4-hour course)

  • Threat Awareness (8-hour program for law enforcement or security)
