It is not a starting point. It assumes prior completion of one of those programs.

We recommend completing Threat Awareness in Practice approximately six months after finishing your core program. Retention of structured observation skills naturally decays over time, and the Refresher is designed to counteract this decay before it affects field performance.
-
Threat Awareness in Practice is included at no additional cost with the eight-hour program and is recommended six months after completion to support continued skill retention. The program can also be purchased at a reduced cost without the refresher. Graduates who did not purchase it at the time of their original enrollment can purchase it separately.
